The house of Umm e Hani is very bless among Muslims. This house is situated side of the Bab-e-Abdul Aziz entrance. Umme Hani (may Allah be pleased with her) was the cousin of the Prophet (PBUH) and the daughter of Abu Talib. It was from here that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was beckoned by Jibraeel (upon him be peace) and occupied to Bayt Al-Maqdis in Jerusalem. Some scholars are of the view that the Prophet(PBUH) went to sleep at night in the house of Umme Hani. Formerly rose after a short-lived while and went to the Kabah, for he loved to visit it. During the night hours. While Prophet was there, the wish to sleep came over him again and he lay miserable. It was from here that Gabriel awoke him. Umm Hani’s actual name was Fakhita.
